General information
The Mayermoover collection tank for four 200-liter drums , available in a hot-dip galvanized version, is the ideal solution for those seeking extreme corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability , even in outdoor or particularly aggressive environments. Designed to the highest European regulatory standards, it offers continuous protection from accidental spills and chemical agents.
Ideal for use in industrial plants, chemical factories and outdoor warehouses, it is a strategic choice for those who want to eliminate maintenance interventions and maintain efficiency in the long term .
Robust construction and fully galvanized
The structure is made of 3 mm thick (30/10) carbon steel and subjected to hot-dip galvanization by total immersion , which coats every surface – external and internal – with a protective anti-corrosion layer.
All welds are electronically tested to ensure a perfect seal. The hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating provided is designed to support the weight of four full drums, steadily and safely.
Production complies with UNI parameters and uses only materials certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001 , with guaranteed traceability.

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).
⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:
| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 liters | 3600 liters |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 liters | 1200 liters |
| Larger container | 700 liters | 1000 liters |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 liters (being 700 > 500) |
1200 liters (being 1000 < 1200) |
