General information
Designed to accommodate a 1000-litre IBC container, the Mayermoover collection tank painted RAL 2004 (pure orange) is the ideal solution for anyone needing a robust, safe and highly visible container in industrial or logistics environments.
The bright orange hue improves visibility on the field , making this container particularly suitable for high-traffic areas or where multiple types of containers are stored. The powder coating ensures high mechanical and chemical resistance, as well as excellent durability.
Structural reliability and regulatory compliance
Each tank is constructed from 3 mm (30/10) thick carbon steel , welded and electronically inspected to ensure there are no leaks or infiltrations. The hot-dip galvanized pressed grating , supplied as standard, provides a durable surface for positioning the tank, even in the presence of aggressive substances.
Production follows UNI parameters , and each component is traceable and certifiable according to UNI EN ISO 9001 , with the possibility of providing technical documentation upon request.

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).
⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:
| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 liters | 3600 liters |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 liters | 1200 liters |
| Larger container | 700 liters | 1000 liters |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 liters (being 700 > 500) |
1200 liters (being 1000 < 1200) |
