General information
The Mayermoover collection tank for 1000-litre IBC containers, in RAL 6011 (reseda green) version, is a professional solution designed for environments where it is necessary to visually distinguish storage areas without sacrificing a technical and tidy aesthetic.
This color is well suited to production environments, industrial plants, and technical warehouses, while offering a solid structure that complies with environmental prevention and workplace safety regulations.
Tested structure and certified materials
The tank is made of 3 mm (30/10) carbon steel , with electronically controlled welds to ensure a perfect watertight seal . The hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating, supplied as standard, is designed to support the weight of a 1000-litre tank even in complex operating conditions.
Each component is made according to UNI parameters , using traceable materials and purchased exclusively from UNI EN ISO 9001 certified suppliers.

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).
⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:
| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 liters | 3600 liters |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 liters | 1200 liters |
| Larger container | 700 liters | 1000 liters |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 liters (being 700 > 500) |
1200 liters (being 1000 < 1200) |
