General information
The Mayermoover collection tank, designed to hold a 1000-litre IBC container, is shown here in the RAL 7010 (curtain grey) version, an elegant and sober finish that integrates perfectly into professional contexts where a neutral but distinctive colour is preferable.
Designed for the safe handling of hazardous or polluting liquids, this tank is built to ensure structural reliability, long-lasting durability, and regulatory compliance in the most demanding industrial sectors.
Robust, functional and compliant with regulations
The 3 mm (30/10) thick carbon steel structure offers high mechanical resistance and long life even in harsh environments. Each tank is precision welded and electronically tested to ensure complete watertightness. The hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating , supplied as standard, is designed to safely support the weight of a 1000-liter IBC.
The materials used are fully traceable and purchased from UNI EN ISO 9001 certified suppliers. The entire production process complies with UNI technical parameters.

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).
⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:
| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 liters | 3600 liters |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 liters | 1200 liters |
| Larger container | 700 liters | 1000 liters |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 liters (being 700 > 500) |
1200 liters (being 1000 < 1200) |
