General information
The Mayermoover collection tank, suitable for holding two 1000-litre IBC tanks , is available in the RAL 6011 (reseda green) painted version: a sober and technical finish, ideal for environments where visual order, regulatory compliance and structural robustness are essential.
Thanks to its reinforced structure and resistant epoxy paint , this tank represents a safe and long-lasting choice for the storage of hazardous, polluting or flammable substances, actively contributing to the prevention of accidental spills.
Reinforced structure and certified components
Constructed from 3mm (30/10) carbon steel , the tank is designed to resist impact, corrosion, and wear and tear. Welds are electronically tested to ensure consistent watertightness even under severe operating conditions.
The hot-dip galvanized pressed grating , supplied included, ensures maximum stability and load capacity, allowing the simultaneous positioning of two 1000-litre IBC tanks.
All the materials used are UNI EN ISO 9001 certified and fully traceable , while the entire production complies with UNI requirements.

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).
⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:
| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 liters | 3600 liters |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 liters | 1200 liters |
| Larger container | 700 liters | 1000 liters |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 liters (being 700 > 500) |
1200 liters (being 1000 < 1200) |
