General information
The Mayermoover spill tray for two 1000-liter IBC containers , in RAL 2004 (pure orange) , is designed for environments where immediate visibility of safety devices is an added value. The robust, regulatory-compliant structure allows for the effective containment of hazardous and polluting liquids, reducing the risk of spills and improving management in high-traffic areas.
Thanks to the epoxy powder coating , this version ensures long-lasting protection against impacts, abrasions and chemical agents.
Safety, capacity and high visibility
The tank is made of quality S235JR carbon steel , with a thickness of 3 mm (30/10) . Each weld is electronically tested to guarantee hermetic containment of liquids. The hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating , supplied included, allows for safe and stable support for the double load of IBC tanks.
Production follows UNI technical parameters, using certified and traceable materials according to the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard.

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).
⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:
| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 liters | 3600 liters |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 liters | 1200 liters |
| Larger container | 700 liters | 1000 liters |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 liters (being 700 > 500) |
1200 liters (being 1000 < 1200) |
