General information
The Mayermoover collection tank, designed to safely hold two 1000-litre IBC containers , is shown here with a RAL 7010 (dark grey) finish . This elegant, neutral finish is perfect for industrial environments, workshops and technical departments where a subtle yet functional colour scheme is required.
This tank is designed to prevent spills of polluting liquids, ensuring environmental safety, structural solidity and regulatory compliance .
Durable structure and certified production
Each tank is constructed from 3 mm (30/10) thick S235JR carbon steel , a material that ensures long-lasting durability even in critical operating environments. The welds are electronically tested to ensure the watertightness of the entire structure.
The hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating , supplied included, ensures a secure support for two 1000-litre IBCs, and is designed to withstand heavy loads and corrosive substances.
All components are traceable and come from UNI EN ISO 9001 certified suppliers. Production follows UNI standards .

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).
⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:
| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 liters | 3600 liters |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 liters | 1200 liters |
| Larger container | 700 liters | 1000 liters |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 liters (being 700 > 500) |
1200 liters (being 1000 < 1200) |
