General information
The Mayermoover spill tray for three 1000-liter IBC containers , in RAL 2004 (pure orange) , is designed to provide safe and efficient containment of large volumes of hazardous or polluting liquids. The bright orange color allows for immediate visual identification in storage areas, improving operational safety.
This model is aimed at professional contexts where high standards of environmental safety are required, such as industrial plants, agricultural companies, chemical sectors and logistics platforms.
Reinforced construction with simplified maintenance
The tank is constructed from 3 mm (30/10) thick S235JR carbon steel . The frame is reinforced to ensure the structural load-bearing capacity of the three 1000-litre tanks. The hot-dip galvanised and removable grates facilitate cleaning and periodic inspection.
Each unit undergoes electronic leak testing to ensure there are no leaks, in compliance with European safety regulations.
All materials are UNI EN ISO 9001 certified , with guaranteed traceability and production carried out according to UNI standards .

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).
⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:
| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 liters | 3600 liters |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 liters | 1200 liters |
| Larger container | 700 liters | 1000 liters |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 liters (being 700 > 500) |
1200 liters (being 1000 < 1200) |
