General information
The Mayermoover collection tank for 3 1000 litre IBC containers , painted RAL 7010 (curtain grey) , is designed for industrial applications where visual order, environmental safety and structural robustness are essential requirements.
The neutral gray color is ideal for technical warehouses, industrial plants and environments where a sober and professional aesthetic is desired, maintaining high visibility and organization.
Technical solution for safe storage
Constructed from 3mm (30/10) thick S235JR carbon steel , this tank is designed to support three 1000-litre IBC containers even when fully loaded, without warping or sagging. The hot-dip galvanised grids are removable , making cleaning and periodic maintenance easier.
The welds are electronically tested to ensure watertightness and the absence of weak points. Production is carried out in compliance with UNI parameters , using materials certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001 .

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).
⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:
| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 liters | 3600 liters |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 liters | 1200 liters |
| Larger container | 700 liters | 1000 liters |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 liters (being 700 > 500) |
1200 liters (being 1000 < 1200) |
