General information
The Mayermoover collection tank for 3 1000-litre IBC tanks , in hot-dip galvanised version, is designed to guarantee maximum resistance to corrosion , even in external or aggressive environments, where humidity and chemical agents can compromise the life of traditional materials.
Made from 3mm carbon steel and protected with integral hot-dip galvanisation, it offers a robust solution, compliant with European regulations, for the containment and safe storage of hazardous and polluting liquids.
Long-term reliability and durability
The tank is equipped with removable, hot-dip galvanized grids for easy maintenance and maximum hygiene. The welds are electronically checked to ensure absolute watertightness. The reinforced load-bearing structure ensures stability even when fully loaded , supporting up to three 1000-liter tanks.
All materials used are UNI EN ISO 9001 certified and meet UNI standards for size and performance.

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).
⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:
| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 liters | 3600 liters |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 liters | 1200 liters |
| Larger container | 700 liters | 1000 liters |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 liters (being 700 > 500) |
1200 liters (being 1000 < 1200) |
