General information

The Mayermoover hot-dip galvanized drum sump tray for one 200-liter drum is the ideal choice for those seeking long-lasting protection and resistance to weather and chemicals. Made entirely of carbon steel and fully hot-dip galvanized, this tray is designed for industrial and outdoor applications, or wherever maximum corrosion resistance is required.

Each unit is built to ensure safety and compliance with European regulations on environmental prevention and workplace safety.

Full zinc plating and long life

Hot-dip galvanizing provides the entire structure with uniform protection , effective over time even in extreme conditions. The tank is made of 3 mm (30/10) thick steel and equipped with a pressed hot-dip galvanized grating , designed to withstand heavy loads and ensure maximum efficiency in the disposal of drums containing oils, solvents, or hazardous substances.

All materials used are traceable and compliant with UNI EN ISO 9001 standards, with certifications available upon request.

Storage and Retention Guide

What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).

⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.

To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:

Liquid containment diagram
Parameter Example 1 Example 2
Total substances stored 1500 liters 3600 liters
1/3 of the total 500 liters 1200 liters
Larger container 700 liters 1000 liters
Minimum capacity required 700 liters
