General information
Designed to hold two 200-litre drums , the Mayermoover hot-dip galvanised collection tank is a high-performance solution for the containment of polluting or hazardous liquids in environments subject to particularly harsh conditions.
Thanks to the integral galvanization treatment, this tank guarantees complete protection against corrosion and a long life even in outdoor spaces or humid environments, where standard painting may not offer a sufficient level of protection.
Complete galvanization and superior resistance
The structure, made of 3 mm (30/10) thick carbon steel , is completely immersed in a bath of molten zinc, according to hot-dip galvanizing specifications. This process ensures a uniform coating, suitable for resisting rust, atmospheric agents and chemicals .
The included hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating is designed to safely support the weight of two 200-litre drums, while offering easy drainage and maximum stability.
The tub is built according to UNI parameters and all materials are certified and traceable according to the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard.

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).
⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:
| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 liters | 3600 liters |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 liters | 1200 liters |
| Larger container | 700 liters | 1000 liters |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 liters (being 700 > 500) |
1200 liters (being 1000 < 1200) |
