General information

The Mayermoover metal spill tray for four 200-liter drums , painted RAL 2004 (pure orange) , is a technical solution designed for maximum workplace safety and environmental protection . The bright color improves visibility in production departments and industrial environments, facilitating quick identification of safety containers.

This version is particularly suitable for warehouses, workshops and chemical plants where safe management of hazardous substances and compliance with European regulations on spill prevention is required.

Reinforced structure and tested welds

Constructed from 3 mm (30/10) thick carbon steel , the tank is designed to withstand intensive use and the most aggressive chemical agents. All welds are electronically tested to ensure a perfect seal. The hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating , supplied included, offers stability and a load-bearing capacity suitable for loading four 200-litre drums.

The materials used are UNI EN ISO 9001 certified , with production compliant with UNI parameters and complete traceability available upon request.

Storage and Retention Guide

What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).

⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
