General information
The Mayermoover collection tank, designed to hold four 200-liter drums , is shown here in the RAL 6011 (reseda green) finish. This neutral, technical color is perfectly suited to industrial environments where discreet yet functional visual identification is required.
Ideal for the safe handling of hazardous substances, the tank helps prevent accidental spills, protecting personnel, facilities and the environment.
Industrial construction and guaranteed watertightness
The structure is made of 3 mm (30/10) thick carbon steel , a material chosen for its strength and durability. The welds are electronically controlled , guaranteeing a perfect seal even in harsh conditions.
The hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating , supplied included, allows for stable and safe support of the 4 drums, and complies with the standards required for handling in professional environments.
Production takes place according to UNI parameters , using only traceable and UNI EN ISO 9001 certified materials.

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).
⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:
| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 liters | 3600 liters |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 liters | 1200 liters |
| Larger container | 700 liters | 1000 liters |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 liters (being 700 > 500) |
1200 liters (being 1000 < 1200) |
