Product Description
The ARCTIC S7S are safety shoes designed by SPARCO to offer high protection in very humid, wet, or rainy environments with standing water. The special DRS – Dry Respiration System membrane, integrated into the upper, makes the shoe water resistant while maintaining optimal breathability, thus ensuring dry feet and a stable microclimate in all seasons.
The water-repellent suede upper with micro-injected inserts improves abrasion resistance, while the dual-density polyurethane sole ensures grip, impact absorption and stability on slippery surfaces. The fiberglass toecap and zero-perforation textile fiber anti-perforation midsole complete the advanced protection compliant with EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 – S7S SR FO CI HI SC .
DRS Membrane Technology (Dry Respiration System)
The DRS membrane is a technical system developed by Sparco Teamwork that combines waterproofness + breathability thanks to a microscopic porous structure:

It blocks the entry of water by preventing it from penetrating through the upper, even during prolonged use on wet surfaces.

It lets moisture and sweat escape , allowing the foot to breathe and maintaining a dry microclimate.

It keeps the foot thermally stable , both in cold and hot conditions.
In practice it acts like an internal, invisible technical sock , which integrates:

This system guarantees constant hygrothermal comfort , ideal in very humid, wet environments or those subject to continuous rain.
Walking test (EN ISO 20345:2022):
