This Policy describes how the website mayermoover.com (hereinafter, "Website") is managed with regard to the processing of personal data of users and customers who consult it, interact with it, request quotes or purchase industrial supplies.

Mayermoover collects and processes the following categories of personal data:

  • Navigation data: IP addresses, domain names of computers used by users, times of requests, method used to submit the request to the server, numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server, and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user's IT environment.
  • Identification and contact data: name, surname, email address, phone number, company name, tax code/VAT number, billing and shipping address voluntarily provided via contact forms, quote request forms, or during the purchase/checkout phase.
  • Transaction and payment data: details of purchased products, order history, and payment information (credit/debit card data are processed directly by secure payment gateways and are not stored on our servers).

3. Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing

Personal Data is collected for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:

Purpose of Processing Legal Basis

Processing of quote requests: provision of personalized quotes, including for custom-designed or non-standard solutions (e.g., stainless steel tanks and buckets). Performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Administrative and fiscal compliance: invoicing, accounting, compliance with obligations under laws or community regulations. Compliance with a legal obligation to which the Controller is subject (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
Sending newsletters and commercial communications: sending updates on B2B products, offers, and company news. Express consent of the data subject (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) or legitimate interest for "soft-spam" (Art. 130 para. 4 D.Lgs. 196/2003).

Processing is carried out using IT and/or telecommunication tools, with organizational methods and logic strictly related to the indicated purposes, adopting appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction of the Data.

Retention period:

  • Contractual and fiscal data: retained for the time necessary to comply with legal obligations (10 years from the date of purchase/invoicing).
  • Data for quote/information requests: retained for the time strictly necessary to manage the request and for the subsequent 24 months for commercial monitoring purposes, unless a contractual relationship is established.
  • Data for marketing/newsletter purposes: retained until consent is revoked (opt-out/unsubscribe) or for a maximum of 24 months from the last interaction.

The collected data may be shared with third parties necessary for the provision of Website services or for legal obligations, designated if necessary as Data Processors. These include:
