INDY-e SUNNY - Safety footwear made of abrasion-resistant material

The SUNNY ESD S3S SR FO LG are safety shoes developed as part of the Sparco® FULL EFFICIENCY project, an initiative that integrates innovation, sustainability and corporate social responsibility. The model is made according to the EN ISO 20345:2022 standard using high-strength regenerated materials, designed and validated entirely in Italy with a zero-waste approach. The upper, made of regenerated Sparco® FULL EFFICIENCY abrasion-resistant material, integrates an HF reinforcement on the toe for additional protection in the areas most subject to wear.

The protective structure includes a 200 J fiberglass toecap and a zero-perforation textile (PS) anti-perforation midsole certified for use with a 3 mm conical nail. The micro-perforated 3D fabric lining ensures constant breathability, while the removable antistatic polyurethane insole with ergonomic thermoforming guarantees comfort, impact absorption, and foot stability during prolonged activities. Functional details also include a quick-release eyelet , useful for speeding up the fit during everyday activities.

The FLEXGRIP+ dual-density polyurethane sole, certified SR + FO + LG , offers excellent performance on slippery or oil-contaminated surfaces, thanks to the lamellar profiles that improve grip and facilitate the outflow of liquids. The heel, designed according to ladder grip (LG) requirements with a height ≥10 mm, ensures a secure grip on ladder rungs, making the shoe high-performance even for activities at height. The flexibility of the forefoot and load distribution make the SUNNY a versatile model for different operational contexts.
