Characteristics
FOAMTACK is an ideal all-weather PU adhesive foam with low expansion, perfect for interior and exterior use, from -5 C to +30 C. The first choice for all assembly and gluing jobs where speed, strength and insulating capacity are important qualities. Good adhesion to all building materials, with excellent thermal and acoustic insulation capacity.
Applications
Paste without creating a cold bridge to insulation boards, aerated concrete blocks and other building elements. Ideal for fitting plasterboard against walls, cornices, movable panels and interior features and for positioning window sills.
How to use
- Shake the aerosol vigorously for at least 30 seconds
- Apply the adhesive in strips to dry, stable surfaces
- Wait 2-3 minutes and test adhesion:
– If the bead opens or holes form, the glue is not ready
– If the glue forms adhesive threads it is ready to use
– Join the parts two minutes after skin formation - If necessary support the glued parts vertically
- Spraying before or after application speeds the cure time and promotes uniform cell formation
- Remove fresh foam with PU FOAM CLEANER and clean hands with POWER WIPES
- Remove the catalysed foam with REMOVE ALL
- Not suitable for load-bearing building elements
- Does not adhere to PE, PP, does not adhere to plastics with closed cell structure
- Bonded parts can be loaded after 60 minutes
- Not suitable for ceiling gluing
