General informations

The aerial maintenance platform, made with carbon steel profiles, a sheet metal bottom and metal mesh covering grids, allows the accommodation of technical personnel and the execution of plant control, verification and maintenance operations within industrial or outdoor warehouses. For this purpose, only a certified forklift is used, which is also suitable for lifting people. The handling and safety devices are installed on the load-bearing structure, while the equipment includes an access door with automatic closing and safety edge, a non-slip mat on the bottom, a tool tray and an opening upper shutter.

The equipment allows an operator to be housed inside its compartment and be lifted by a forklift.

The aerial maintenance platform is equipment that can be used for lifting people with machines intended for lifting goods. The use of such equipment is regulated by the laws of the individual member states of the European Union . In Italy the use of this category of equipment is regulated by Legislative Decree no. 81/2008, in particular point 3.1.4 of Annex VI, which allows its use "exceptionally" ... "provided that adequate safety measures have been taken, in accordance with good technical provisions which provide the appropriate control of the means used and the recording of such control".
