Applications

ST-ONE COPPI E TETTI MANUAL is a single-component polyurethane foam that hardens on contact with air humidity. It is used to glue and secure the tiles to the underlying roof surface. It can be used to replace cement-based mortar, because compared to it, the use of ST-ONE COPPI E TETTI MANAULE offers higher quality, faster times and a lower price. Adheres to most roofing materials. It has poor adhesion to polyethylene, silicone and PTFE.

How to use

The use is very practical and simple. In places where the mortar was previously applied, polyurethane foam can be used which clings to the shingles and roof. Consider that the foam expands by 100-150% after dispensing, therefore it is necessary to adjust the amount of foam dispensed during application. The foam should not be applied to visible parts of the roof, as it is not UV resistant. Surfaces must be clean, free from dust, grease and other impurities. Dry, porous surfaces should be moistened with water. The optimum temperature for the cylinder is between 20°C and 25°C. If the temperature is lower, immerse the cylinder in hot water (max 40°C) for about 20 minutes. Before use, shake the can vigorously (about 20 times) with the valve facing downwards. Remove the protective cap and screw on the adapter. Hold the bottle upside down and activate the foam by pressing the valve. Once the foam has hardened, cut off the excess with a sharp knife and proceed with finishing. If you are not using the entire bottle, clean the valve with PU FOAM CLEANER. Cured foam can be removed with REMOVE ALL or mechanically. Cured foam must be protected from UV rays.
