Immersion silicone sealant Tec7 adhesive

  • Outstanding bonding ability
  • High resistance to UV rays and fungi
  • Fast catalysis
  • Catalyzes without shrinking
  • Remains flexible and resists vibration
  • Paste both on dry and wet surfaces and by immersion
  • Can be used indoors and outdoors
  • It has certification for use in the food sector
  • It has nautical certification
  • Apply with GUN7 – MULTIGUN gun

Characteristics

  • After hardening, super strong and permanently elastic
  • Without phthalates, solvents and isocyanates
  • Safe on mirrors, leaves no residue on natural stone
  • Almost odorless
  • Also ideal for wet and slippery surfaces
  • Resistant to fungi and bacteria
  • Sealant silicone resistant to water in immersion and to air
  • Can be used on most building materials

Applications

  • TEC7 is able to glue and seal underwater; replaces all assembly and similar glues for gluing with wood , polyurethane-based glues, silicones, sanitary silicones, acrylic sealants, butyl rubber-based sealants.
  • As an immersion sealing adhesive universal, TEC7 adheres to most surfaces and does not attack synthetic materials.
  • Ideal for mirrors (vertical adhesion), natural stone (does not impregnate or stain), metal, polyester , polystyrene foam, damp surfaces, even underwater.
  • For sealing steel, welded and also bonded steel (also for type 316 and 316L stainless steel), preventing rust formation
  • Paintable sealant with most common paints
  • Enamels based on alkyd resin, applied over TEC7, can dry more slowly
  • TEC7 has lower adhesion on PP, PE, bitumen and silicones.

How to use

  • Application temperature: from +5°C to +40°C • Apply on clean surfaces, free from dust and grease
  • If necessary, clean the surface with TEC7 CLEANER or MULTICLEAN
  • Apply with the special gun for GUN7 sealants
  • Given the large variety of different types and compositions of plastic materials, as well as materials that are prone to stress cracking, preliminary testing is recommended
  • Test adhesion on plastics, dust layers, exotic woods and bituminous materials. • Cut the end of the cartridge
  • Cut the spout to the desired size
  • Seen from the large variety of different types of paints and varnishes on the market, it is recommended to carry out preliminary tests. Using alkyd resin home products can slow down the drying process
  • Use TEC7 CLEANER to clean and degrease safely, to achieve a perfect finish and to remove uncured TEC7 polymers. Use HP CLEAN for finishing on porous materials
  • When gluing mirrors in bathrooms, apply only vertical strips of adhesive, to avoid stagnant humidity which can result from condensation
  • Ideal thickness for optimal adhesion: 3 mm
