General information

The stainless steel collection tanks are designed to ensure safe storage, long-lasting and hygienic of liquid substances, especially those that are chemically aggressive or flammable. Made in AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, these tanks offer exceptional resistance to corrosion, rust and wear over time, even in harsh industrial environments.

Why choose stainless steel

Stainless steel is a noble material with high chemical-physical properties:

  • Anti-corrosion: excellent resistance to chemical and atmospheric agents.

  • Stainless: prevents contamination, making it ideal for sectors with high hygiene standards.

  • Easy cleaning: rapid sanitization with low concentrations of disinfectants.

  • Sustainability: 100% recyclable and long-lasting.

Applications

Stainless steel liquid containment tanks are used across the board in the following sectors:

    • Food and milling industry
    • Chemical-pharmaceutical
    • Production of plastics and inert materials
    • Warehouse logistics and transport of bulk products
    • Chemical and Petrochemical
    • Aerospace
    • Mechanical and automotive industry

Chemical compatibility

Ideal for the storage and containment of:

  • Acetone
  • Petrol and diesel
  • Industrial oils
  • Ethanol and glycerin
  • Solvents
  • Acids
  • Flammable or unknown substances

Storage and Retention Guide

What does the law say?
As established by Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152, modified by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258, containment basins must have a minimum capacity equal to at least the largest of the containers stored e in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the dangerous substances present. In areas subject to aquifer protection, the legislation requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank (100% of the volume).

⚠️ Attention:
This rule does not apply to the storage of used oil, for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume, regardless of other considerations.

To better clarify the practical application of these rules, below are two examples with explanatory data:
