The stainless steel collection tray is designed to ensure one safe, long-lasting and hygienic storage of liquid substances, especially those that are chemically aggressive or flammable. Made of AISI 304 or 31 stainless steel6, these tanks offer exceptional resistance to corrosion, rust and wear over time, even in harsh industrial environments. Designed for high-operation industrial environments, it allows storage up to 4 200 liter drums in total safety.

Ideal applications

  • Chemical and petrochemical industries

  • Logistics warehouses and intensive loading areas

  • High turnover workshops and warehouses

  • Marine environments or at risk of corrosion (AISI 316)

  • Systems for the storage of waste and dangerous liquids

  • Food and cosmetics industry

Certified quality and materials

All models of containment tanks are built using traced and certified steel, provided by companies compliant with the standard UNI EN ISO 9001. Le welds are tested electronically to ensure total watertightness, while the facility follows rigorous manufacturing standards.

The hot-dip galvanized grating it is sized to support the weight of four full drums, maintaining stability and resistance even in demanding operating conditions.

Technical characteristics

  • Structure in AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel
  • Hot-dip galvanized grating, resistant and non-slip
  • Controlled electronic welding for total waterproofing
  • Compliant dimensions UNI, designed for 4 200 L drums
  • Spaces for fork lifting integrated
  • Compatible with dangerous, flammable or corrosive liquids
  • Production certified according to standards UNI EN ISO 9001

Storage and Retention Guide

What does the law say?
As established by Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152, modified by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258, containment basins must have a minimum capacity equal to at least the largest of the containers stored e in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the dangerous substances present. In areas subject to aquifer protection, the legislation requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank (100% of the volume).

⚠️ Attention:
This rule does not apply to the storage of used oil, for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume, regardless of other considerations.

To better clarify the practical application of these rules, below are two examples with explanatory data:

Liquid containment diagram

Parameter Example 1 Example 2
Total substances stored 1500 litres 3600 litres
1/3 of the total 500 litres 1200 litres
Larger container 700 litres 1000 litres
Minimum capacity required 700 litres
(being 700 > 500)
