General information

The dangerous liquid containment tank Mayermoover, designed to contain a 1000 liter IBC tank, is proposed here in the version RAL 7010 (tent grey), an elegant and sober finish that integrates perfectly into professional contexts where a neutral but distinctive color is preferable.

Designed for the safe handling of dangerous or polluting liquids, this tank is built to guarantee structural reliability, durability over time and regulatory compliance in the most demanding industrial sectors.

Robust, functional and compliant with regulations

Tank containing dangerous liquids from structure in carbon steel thickness 3 mm (30/10) offers high mechanical resistance and long life even in harsh environments. Each tub is precision welded and electronically tested to ensure total watertightness. The hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating, supplied as standard, is designed to safely support the weight of a 1000 liter tank.

The materials used are fully traceable and purchased from certified suppliers UNI EN ISO 9001. The entire production process respects UNI technical parameters.

Storage and Retention Guide

What does the law say?
As established by Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152, modified by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258, containment basins must have a minimum capacity equal to at least the largest of the containers stored e in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the dangerous substances present. In areas subject to aquifer protection, the legislation requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank (100% of the volume).

⚠️ Attention:
This rule does not apply to the storage of used oil, for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume, regardless of other considerations.

To better clarify the practical application of these rules, below are two examples with explanatory data:

Liquid containment diagram

Parameter Example 1 Example 2
Total substances stored 1500 litres 3600 litres
1/3 of the total 500 litres 1200 litres
Larger container 700 litres 1000 litres
Minimum capacity required 700 litres
