This EN 14470-1 and EN 16121 certified cabinet guarantees passive protection for up to 90 minutes, offering a solution compliant with the strictest regulations for handling flammable substances and lithium batteries. The structure is made of cold-pressed steel sheet, 1-1.5 mm thick, with anti-acid epoxy coating, designed to resist wear and aggressive chemical agents. The insulation system is based on high-performance insulation made of high-density rock wool (800°C) and calcium sulfate panels, which ensure an effective thermal barrier in case of fire. This cabinet for storing batteries and flammable solids is equipped with 3 adjustable perforated shelves with a certified capacity of 80 kg each, designed to ensure optimal stability, ventilation, and internal organization. Its larger dimensions compared to compact models make it ideal for more intensive uses and higher storage volumes. From an active safety perspective, the cabinet integrates an automatic door closure above 47°C and certified valves with automatic closure at 70°C, essential for limiting fire propagation. The certified DIN 4102 thermodilating gaskets ensure maximum airtightness in extreme conditions. Completing the system are an integrated spill containment sump for managing any spills and an anti-static earthing clamp, essential for preventing the accumulation of electrostatic charges during the storage of flammable materials. The spark-proof hinges and the ventilation system with a Ø100 mm opening on the roof complete a solution designed to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and reliability over time.
