The FIRE 60 UB TYPE 90 lithium battery safety cabinet represents the excellent solution for the protected storage of flammable products and energy accumulators in industrial and laboratory environments. Designed to guarantee maximum protection in case of fire, this device offers a fire resistance of 90 minutes, exceeding rigorous compliance tests with European standards EN 14470-1 and EN 16121.
The structure is made of electro-galvanized steel with differentiated thicknesses (1-2 mm), treated with anti-acid epoxy powder coating to resist wear and aggressive chemical agents. Thermal protection is provided by high-density calcium silicate and mineral fiber insulation, free of ceramic fiber, capable of insulating the internal contents even at temperatures reaching 800°C. The melamine laminate interiors complete the picture, guaranteeing a surface that is easy to sanitize and impermeable to vapors.
Operational safety is implemented through state-of-the-art systems: in case of fire, the automatic door closing system activates above 47°C, while the certified ventilation valves seal hermetically at 70°C, preventing the spread of flames and gases. The entire system is protected by a thermo-expanding seal (DIN 4102) that expands with heat, making the cabinet a completely sealed container.
Each unit is equipped with an earthing clamp, essential for preventing the accumulation of electrostatic charges, a critical factor in handling lithium batteries. The spark-proof hinges and the lock with key ensure that access is limited to authorized personnel, drastically reducing the risk of accidents and guaranteeing full compliance with workplace safety protocols (Italian Legislative Decree 81/08).
