Description
The ATEX heater for 1000-litre IBC containers is designed for heating and frost protection of liquids contained in IBC tanks installed in potentially explosive environments. It is suitable for industrial applications requiring temperature maintenance or controlled heating of fluids.
The flexible, heat-dissipating structure is designed to fit standard 1000-litre IBC containers. The IP65 protection rating also makes it suitable for outdoor use, protecting the device from dust and water jets.
The ATEX range is designed for applications with steel IBC containers, with operating temperatures up to +180/+200 °C, and plastic containers, up to +80 °C. The achievable temperature class (from T6 to T3) depends on the configuration and the temperature limiter setting.
The heater is supplied with a 3-metre power cable, but without a temperature controller. The ATEX 23-4258 controller must be purchased separately for temperature control. A dedicated insulating cover, code 23-4256, is also available and recommended for improved heat retention and heating efficiency.
