A superb innovation is SKIL’s «VRS+» system, a superior vibration reduction system compared to traditional systems. A counterweight that can move in any direction is built into the side handle of this grinder. This so-called dynamic absorber reduces vibrations extremely.
Depending on the job you are doing, you can easily adjust the rear handle and side handle to different comfortable positions. This tool has an electronic slow start that automatically adjusts the speed and constant power electronics that ensure efficiency even under high loads. A "Clic" system allows you to easily adjust the grinding wheel cover without using a wrench, so you can divert sparks in the desired direction.
To underline the excellent performance, this tool has hardened helical gears that ensure higher torque, longer tool life and lower noise level while performing the job. Replacing or changing the disc is easy thanks to the convenient spindle lock system.
