General information
The Mayermoover spill tray, designed to accommodate a 1000-liter IBC container, is a professional solution for the safe handling of hazardous and polluting liquids . The RAL 5010 (gentian blue) paint finish gives the product a durable and distinctive finish, suitable for industrial settings where it is important to visually distinguish different types of containers.
This tub is built to ensure mechanical resistance, environmental protection and compliance with European regulations , with high-quality materials and technical finishes taken care of in every detail.
Robust and tested construction
The structure is made entirely of 3 mm (30/10) thick carbon steel . All welds are electronically tested to ensure complete waterproofing in the event of leaks. The hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating provides a stable base for loading the tank, resistant to wear and chemical agents.
Each tub is built according to UNI parameters , with guaranteed traceability of the materials, coming from suppliers certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001 .

What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).
⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:
