General information

The Mayermoover metal collection tank for one 200-litre drum is designed to offer maximum protection against accidental spills of hazardous or polluting liquids, ensuring compliance with European regulations on environmental safety and worker protection.

In this RAL 5010 (gentian blue) painted version, the tub stands out not only for its robust structure but also for its color , which facilitates visual identification in production, logistics, and storage areas. The epoxy powder finish is highly resistant to impacts, chemicals, and wear and tear from handling.

High performance for professional use

Made entirely of 30/10 (3 mm) thick carbon steel , this tank is designed to last even in the most demanding conditions. Each piece is welded and electronically tested to ensure a perfect watertight seal and prevent any risk of groundwater contamination.

The hot-dip galvanized grating, supplied as standard, is made using a pressing process to ensure high structural load-bearing capacity and long life , even in contact with aggressive chemical substances.

What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).

⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
