Description
The high-temperature drum heating band for 50–60 litre drums is designed to heat the contents of drums and maintain them at the desired temperature. It is suitable for industrial applications requiring temperature and viscosity control of materials or the prevention of liquids from freezing.
Model 11-9871 is powered at 230 V, has a power rating of 440 W and features a digital temperature controller with a control range of 0 to 200 °C. The band measures 1380 × 460 mm and is compatible with drums having a diameter between 370 and 440 mm.
The structure is made of silicone-impregnated fabric, with glass fibre insulation and a Teflon heating wire. The quick-release adjustable buckles allow the band to be secured to the drum, while the 3-metre power cable enables connection to the mains. The cable is supplied with a Schuko plug (CEE plug available on request).
To complete the heating system, a compatible heating base and an upper insulating cover can be added, both available for separate purchase.

The drum heating band is suitable for industrial applications requiring materials contained in small-capacity drums to be heated or maintained at a controlled temperature.
It can be used for heating:

It is used in manufacturing, production plants and industrial maintenance activities that require thermal control of materials contained in drums.
Note: the standard protection rating is IP40. For environments with water splashes or higher humidity, a version with IP54 protection is available on request. The maximum temperature that can actually be achieved also depends on the characteristics of the material being heated and the operating conditions.
