Description
The heating jacket for high-voltage cables is designed for the straightening and relaxation of high- and extra-high-voltage power cables, particularly before connection and joint operations.
The flexible structure allows the cable to be wrapped and the heat to be distributed over the surface to be treated. The system incorporates a PT100 sensor connected to an external digital controller, included in the delivery, which allows the temperature to be set and controlled in the range from 0 to 90 °C.
The jacket is compatible with cables having a diameter between 60 and 160 mm. It is also suitable for the post-curing of epoxy resin joints and for other applications requiring controlled heating of cables.
