Description
The high-voltage cable heating jacket is designed for straightening and relaxing high- and extra-high-voltage power cables, particularly before connection and jointing operations.
The flexible structure allows the cable to be wrapped and the heat to be distributed over the surface being treated. The system incorporates a PT100 sensor connected to an external digital controller, included in the delivery, which allows the temperature to be set and controlled within the range of 0 to 90 °C.
With a length of 1500 mm, this version offers a larger heating surface than the 1000 mm model. It is compatible with cables having a diameter between 60 and 160 mm and is also suitable for the post-curing of epoxy resin joints and other applications requiring controlled cable heating.
