Description
The 1000-litre ATEX LB series IBC heater is designed for heating IBC containers in environments with a risk of explosive atmospheres. It is particularly suitable for frost protection, helping to prevent the contents from freezing during storage and handling.
The system uses a self-regulating heating cable, adapted to the volume of the container, and an antistatic and water-repellent PVC outer cover. The structure has a degree of protection IP54 and an ATEX-certified junction box, which allows the heating cable to be replaced.
Unlike models that require an external control unit, the LB series operates without a controller: it is not possible to purchase or connect a temperature control unit to this model. To improve temperature maintenance and limit heat loss, it is recommended to use it with the insulating cover, code 24-4652.
