Description
The 25–30 litre ATEX LB series drum heater is designed for heating drums in environments with a risk of explosive atmospheres. It is particularly suitable for frost protection and for maintaining the temperature of products during storage and industrial processes.
The system uses a 160 W self-regulating heating cable, which automatically reduces the power output as the temperature increases. The flexible outer cover made of antistatic and water-repellent PVC fabric is equipped with fastening straps and an ATEX-certified junction box, which makes replacing the heating cable easier.
The model operates without a control unit: it is not possible to purchase or connect an external controller. To help reduce heat loss, it can be used with the insulating cover, code 24-4688.
