Description
The heating jacket for 1000-liter IBC containers for food products is designed to heat liquids intended for applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries. It allows products to be maintained within a controlled temperature range or to reduce their viscosity, facilitating the withdrawal and emptying of the container.
Materials such as syrups, honey, sugars, and fats can become more viscous at room temperature, making transfer operations more difficult and increasing residues inside the IBC. Heating helps make these products more fluid, facilitating their handling.
The range includes three variants. Model 20-2798 has a power of 1300 W and a temperature adjustable from 0 to 40 °C; it is primarily intended for frost protection. Model 20-2797 features two heating bands of 1000 W each, for a total power of 2000 W, while model 20-2797B incorporates three 1000 W bands, for a total power of 3000 W. These latter two models allow the temperature to be adjusted from 0 to 90 °C and feature independent digital thermostats for each band.
The silicone and fiberglass fabric structure is equipped with adjustable quick-release straps, which facilitate installation on the container. The jacket is designed for food and pharmaceutical applications and comes in white.
All three models are supplied without an insulating cover. To limit heat loss, the manufacturer recommends using the insulating cover for 1000-liter IBCs, code 20-2799, sold separately.
