General information

The Mayermoover metal collection tray for 1000 liter cisterns, in version hot galvanized, is the ideal choice for applications in outdoor environments or in the presence of corrosive agents. This finishing treatment protects the structure from rust, oxidation and wear, making the product particularly suitable for exposed contexts or with reduced maintenance requirements over time.

Every galvanized containment tank it is designed to contain accidental spills of dangerous liquids, offering safety, robustness and compliance with European environmental regulations.

Extended protection and reliability over time

The structure is made in carbon steel with thickness 3 mm (30/10) and subjected to hot-dip galvanizing by complete immersion, ensuring a uniform and durable coating. The hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating, supplied as standard, is suitable for supporting the load of a 1000 liter IBC tank even in harsh operating conditions.

Each unit is made in compliance with the UNI standards, using exclusively traceable and certified materials according to the standard UNI EN ISO 9001.

Storage and Retention Guide

What does the law say?
As established by Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152, modified by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258, containment basins must have a minimum capacity equal to at least the largest of the containers stored e in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the dangerous substances present. In areas subject to aquifer protection, the legislation requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank (100% of the volume).

⚠️ Attention:
This rule does not apply to the storage of used oil, for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume, regardless of other considerations.

To better clarify the practical application of these rules, below are two examples with explanatory data:

Parameter Example 1 Example 2
Total substances stored 1500 litres 3600 litres
1/3 of the total 500 litres 1200 litres
Larger container 700 litres 1000 litres
Minimum capacity required 700 litres
