General information
The Mayermoover spill tray for two 1000-liter IBC containers , hot-dip galvanized , is designed to offer maximum protection from spills and corrosion in industrial, chemical, or logistics environments. This model guarantees long-lasting outdoor operation thanks to its full-surface galvanization.
Designed for intensive use and in critical conditions, it is the ideal solution for those seeking reliability, reduced maintenance and regulatory compliance .
Structural galvanization and guaranteed watertightness
The tank is made of S235JR carbon steel with a thickness of 3 mm (30/10) and subjected to hot-dip galvanization by total immersion, to offer uniform protection against rust, atmospheric agents and aggressive substances.
The welds are electronically checked to ensure the container is completely leak-proof. The hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating , supplied included, is sized to safely support the weight of two IBC containers even when fully loaded.
Production complies with UNI parameters and all materials used are certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001 , with guaranteed traceability.

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
According to Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152 , amended by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258 , containment basins must have a minimum capacity at least equal to the largest of the stored containers and in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the hazardous substances present. In areas subject to groundwater protection, the legislation instead requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank ( 100% of the volume ).
⚠️ Attention:
This regulation does not apply to the storage of used oil , for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume , regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, we report below two examples with explanatory data:
| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 liters | 3600 liters |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 liters | 1200 liters |
| Larger container | 700 liters | 1000 liters |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 liters (being 700 > 500) |
1200 liters (being 1000 < 1200) |
