General information
Designed to contain two 200 liter drums, the Mayermoover collection tank in hot-dip galvanized version it is a high-performance solution for the containment of polluting or dangerous liquids in environments subject to particularly harsh conditions.
Thanks to the integral galvanizing treatment, this tub guarantees a complete protection against corrosion and long life even in outdoor spaces or humid environments, where standard painting may not offer a sufficient level of protection.
Complete galvanization and superior resistance
Containment tank for forklift, transpallet and forklift which it fully complies with the requirements established by European regulations on the subject containment of dangerous substances and environmental protection. The structure, built in carbon steel thickness 3 mm (30/10), is completely immersed in a bath of molten zinc, according to the specifications of hot galvanizing. This process ensures a uniform coating, suitable for resist rust, weather and chemicals.
The hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating, supplied included, is designed to safely support the weight of two 200 liter drums, while offering ease of drainage and maximum stability.
The tub is built according to UNI parameters and all materials are certified and traceable according to the standard UNI EN ISO 9001.

What does the law say?
As established by Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152, modified by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258, containment basins must have a minimum capacity equal to at least the largest of the containers stored e in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the dangerous substances present. In areas subject to aquifer protection, the legislation requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank (100% of the volume).
⚠️ Attention:
This rule does not apply to the storage of used oil, for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume, regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, below are two examples with explanatory data:
