General information
The Mayermoover collection tank for two 1000 liter IBC tanks, in version hot galvanized, is designed to deliver maximum protection from spills and corrosion in industrial, chemical or logistical environments. This model guarantees a long operating life even outdoors, thanks to the complete galvanizing treatment on the entire surface.
Designed for intensive use and in critical conditions, it is the ideal solution for those looking for reliability, reduced maintenance and regulatory compliance.
Structural galvanization and guaranteed seal
The containment tank is made of S235JR carbon steel with thickness 3 mm (30/10) and subjected to hot galvanization by total immersion, to offer uniform protection against rust, atmospheric agents and aggressive substances.
Le welds are controlled electronically to ensure complete sealing of the container. The hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating, supplied included, is sized to safely support the weight of two IBC tanks even when fully loaded.
The production respects the UNI parameters and all the materials used are certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001, with guaranteed traceability.

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
As established by Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152, modified by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258, containment basins must have a minimum capacity equal to at least the largest of the containers stored e in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the dangerous substances present. In areas subject to aquifer protection, the legislation requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank (100% of the volume).
⚠️ Attention:
This rule does not apply to the storage of used oil, for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume, regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, below are two examples with explanatory data:

| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 litres | 3600 litres |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 litres | 1200 litres |
| Larger container | 700 litres | 1000 litres |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 litres (being 700 > 500) |
1200 litres (being 1000 < 1200) |
