ATEX heaters are intended for thermal management in environments where explosive atmospheres may form due to the presence of combustible gases, vapors, or dusts. Selection begins with the area classification and the compatibility between the equipment marking, environmental conditions, and process requirements.

The collection includes heaters for drums, IBC tanks, and gas cylinders, along with an ATEX regulator-limiter for compatible systems. The documented product families are suitable for applications in gas zones 1 and 2 and dust zones 21 and 22, within the conditions permitted for each device and the installed configuration.

LB series drum and IBC heaters use a self-limiting cable with an antistatic PVC coating and IP54 protection. They are designed for frost protection and temperature maintenance. Other versions for drums, IBCs, and cylinders have IP65 protection and require temperature regulation and limitation via a compatible external system.

The regulator-limiter with an intrinsically safe PT100 input performs a function distinct from the heater and must be paired according to the system documentation. Temperature class, container limits, and permitted settings must be evaluated together: the ATEX designation does not make all models equivalent nor does it authorize any process temperature.
