General information
The Mayermoover collection tank for 1 200 liter drum, in version hot galvanized, represents the ideal choice for those looking for long-lasting protection and resistance to atmospheric and chemical agents. Made entirely of carbon steel and subjected to a complete hot-dip galvanizing process, this tank is designed for applications in industrial environments, outdoors or in contexts where it is required maximum resistance to corrosion.
Each containment tank is built to guarantee safety and compliance with European regulations regarding environmental prevention and workplace safety.
Full galvanization and long life
Hot-dip galvanizing gives the entire structure a unique look uniform protection, effective over time even in extreme conditions. The tub is made of steel thickness 3 mm (30/10) and equipped with hot-pressed galvanized grating, designed to withstand high loads and guarantee maximum efficiency in the disposal of drums containing oils, solvents or dangerous substances.
All materials used are tracked and compliant with standards UNI EN ISO 9001, with certifications available on request.

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
As established by Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152, modified by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258, containment basins must have a minimum capacity equal to at least the largest of the containers stored e in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the dangerous substances present. In areas subject to aquifer protection, the legislation requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank (100% of the volume).
⚠️ Attention:
This rule does not apply to the storage of used oil, for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume, regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, below are two examples with explanatory data:

| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 litres | 3600 litres |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 litres | 1200 litres |
| Larger container | 700 litres | 1000 litres |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 litres (being 700 > 500) |
1200 litres (being 1000 < 1200) |
