General information
The Mayermoover collection tank for four 200 liter drums, in version hot galvanized, is the optimal solution for those looking extreme resistance to corrosion and long life, even in external or particularly aggressive environments. Designed to the highest European regulatory standards, it delivers continuous protection from accidental spills and chemical agents.
Ideal storage tank for use in industrial plants, chemical plants and outdoor warehouses, it is a strategic choice for those who want eliminate maintenance interventions and maintain efficiency in the long term.
Robust construction and integral galvanization
The structure is made in carbon steel thickness 3 mm (30/10) and subjected to hot galvanizing by total immersion, which covers every surface – external and internal – with a protective anti-corrosion layer.
All the welds are tested electronically to ensure perfect sealing of liquids. The hot-dip galvanized and pressed grating supplied is designed to support the weight of 4 full drums, stably and safely.
The production respects the UNI parameters and uses only materials certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001, with guaranteed traceability.

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
As established by Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152, modified by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258, containment basins must have a minimum capacity equal to at least the largest of the containers stored e in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the dangerous substances present. In areas subject to aquifer protection, the legislation requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank (100% of the volume).
⚠️ Attention:
This rule does not apply to the storage of used oil, for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume, regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, below are two examples with explanatory data:

| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 litres | 3600 litres |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 litres | 1200 litres |
| Larger container | 700 litres | 1000 litres |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 litres (being 700 > 500) |
1200 litres (being 1000 < 1200) |
