General information
Storage tank pdesigned to accommodate a 1000 liter IBC tank, painted RAL 2004 (pure orange) it is the ideal solution for those who need a robust, safe and clearly visible container within industrial or logistics environments.
The bright orange hue enhances the field visibility, making this tank particularly suitable for high-traffic operational areas or in the presence of multiple types of containers. The powder coating guarantees high mechanical and chemical resistance, as well as excellent durability over time.
Structural reliability and regulatory compliance
Every 1000 liter cistern storage tank is built in carbon steel thickness 3 mm (30/10), welded and subjected to electronic controls to ensure no leaks or infiltrations. The hot-pressed galvanized grating, supplied as standard, offers a resistant surface for positioning the tank, even in the presence of aggressive substances.
Production follows UNI parameters, and each component is tracked and certifiable according to UNI EN ISO 9001, with the possibility of providing technical documentation on request.

Storage and Retention Guide
What does the law say?
As established by Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152, modified by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258, containment basins must have a minimum capacity equal to at least the largest of the containers stored e in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the dangerous substances present. In areas subject to aquifer protection, the legislation requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank (100% of the volume).
⚠️ Attention:
This rule does not apply to the storage of used oil, for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume, regardless of other considerations.
To better clarify the practical application of these rules, below are two examples with explanatory data:

| Parameter | Example 1 | Example 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Total substances stored | 1500 litres | 3600 litres |
| 1/3 of the total | 500 litres | 1200 litres |
| Larger container | 700 litres | 1000 litres |
| Minimum capacity required | 700 litres (being 700 > 500) |
1200 litres (being 1000 < 1200) |
