General information

The metal collection tray for 3 1000 liter IBC Mayermoover cisterns is the product specifically designed for environmental protection and workplace safety, respecting all European legal regulations.

Carbon steel collection and storage tanks are the ideal solution for preventing spills of polluting and dangerous liquids in work environments and aquifers. The reinforced frame and removable grilles allow for easy positioning and quick maintenance. Ideal for industrial, logistics, agricultural environments and for companies that manage chemical or dangerous substances.

Thanks to an accurate quality control, all the tanks must pass several leak tests to guarantee product reliability. According to regulations, hot-dip galvanized and pressed gratings are used, in order to guarantee load-bearing capacity and durability over time.

All Mayermoover containers are made using S235JR or higher quality materials, guaranteeing traceability and related certifications. The materials of our containers are purchased from historic companies that operate in accordance with regulations UNI EN ISO 9001.

At your request we are able to provide different types of finishes, including: epoxy powder painting, single/two-component liquid painting, cold galvanizing or hot galvanizing.

Any RAL color available (to be agreed based on quantities).

Tub features:

• All collection tanks are made of carbon steel with a thickness of 30/10 equivalent to 3 mm;
• The welds are electronically controlled to guarantee perfect watertightness;
• The dimensions and related dimensions are all created according to UNI parameters;
• They are equipped with fork entry for simple and effective lifting and transport with forklifts;
• They are produced only with the highest quality raw materials, guaranteeing excellent resistance and durability over time even for the most aggressive substances;

Storage and Retention Guide

What does the law say?
As established by Legislative Decree 19/05/1999 n. 152, modified by Legislative Decree 2000 n. 258, containment basins must have a minimum capacity equal to at least the largest of the containers stored e in any case not less than 1/3 of the total volume of the dangerous substances present. In areas subject to aquifer protection, the legislation requires that the entire stored volume be contained within the collection tank (100% of the volume).

⚠️ Attention:
This rule does not apply to the storage of used oil, for which the law expressly requires a containment tank equal to 100% of the stored volume, regardless of other considerations.

To better clarify the practical application of these rules, below are two examples with explanatory data:
